Run by Donald and Jackie Hodgson, Town Head Farm dates from the very late 17th or early 18th centuries.

The house has a fine collection of moulded oak woodwork and a spice cupboard dated 1702. It is situated just north of Grasmere village off Dunmail Raise, with superb uninterrupted views of Grasmere valley and the surrounding fells.

Guests have their own lounge / breakfast room which retains all its historic features.

There is a double and twin bedded room which are tastefully decorated with a shared bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms have splendid views from the windows overlooking fields and Lakeland fells.

Ample parking is available with bike storage.
